The Solar Team is part of the Environmental Leadership Program (ELP) at the University of Oregon.  The goal of our project was to map and assess the solar capacity of the city of Springfield, Oregon.  We created this website to address the interests of two groups of people- community members and students.  You can also find the full report of our research by following the link below.

 

Community Members

One of our goals is to provide information about solar power to community members and customers of Springfield Utility Board.  Here you can learn the basics of how solar power works, whether you are elligible for solar power, how much money you can save, and more!  You may be suprised how easy and simple it can all be.  Please click here if you would like more information in this area.
